About Us

Our Origin Story

in the land of Kent, Ohio, there lived two young girls: Tiffany and Mira. One slow summer afternoon, the girls attended a festival. There were all kinds of people selling everything from brooms to honey! Suddenly, Tiffany turned to Mira and said, Alas, Mira! I am in need of a magic wand. Luckily, Mira had spotted a wand salesman. Tiffany, there is a magic wand salesman just there! Let us go. Off they went to find the perfect wand!

As they approached the salesman, they noticed he seemed rather preoccupied with his gold. Tiffany suddenly spotted a wand she thought she might like. Sir? How much for this wand? The man looked up from his piles of gold drooling and he growled. Thirty pieces of gold…but for you? Thirty-five, and a lock of that beautiful red hair! The girls were horrified! Nooooo! they shouted. The evil man was shocked at their defiance and summoned the guards. While the man was trying to protect his gold, Mira and Tiffany pushed over his table. Suddenly the guards stormed towards them, but they tripped over themselves as the girls ran away, never to return to that festival again!

Once they arrived home safely, they told their dragon, Timber, and their mothers Karin and Kathy. Mira’s mother then became Mama Dragon. That day, she went to Grandpa Dragon’s workshop and began to make wands. She has been making them ever since—and sometimes Mira and Grandma dragon help too!
